Hi, I’m Melissa!

In 2020, some friends and I created a digital game world for exploring self-reflection. I was given the nickname “idea hamster” (it lives on a public website, here. It’s legit.). Nowadays, I like to think of myself as an idea hamster because I have a knack for churning out ideas, connecting the dots, and drawing connections (and yes, sometimes they’re random).

By day, I’m a UX researcher turned strategist. I love asking questions, and also I’m just nosy. Just kidding. I believe in the power of asking thoughtful questions and digging deep to uncover how someone actually thinks and why they do what they do.

Outside the research plans, I’m either making comics, drawing with my friends, saving tiktok food recipes I’ll never get to, going to a movie theater, or just wandering around a park.
