d o o d l e s

I’ve been drawing for most, if not all my life. I picked up a crayon at the age of 4 and ever since I’ve been doodling nonstop. Doodling is a lifestyle — I love drawing places, nature, people, random objects, food, scenery, anything. My sketchbooks are most prized possessions. Currently exploring urban sketching, animation, and comics.

Racial Trauma Care Package, Empower Lab at Georgia State

In June 2020, The Plot Twisters team and I worked with Dr. Isha Metzger of The EMPOWER Lab at Georgia State University, a clinical psychology lab focusing on bringing trauma-focused cognitive-based therapy (TF-CBT) resources to Black youth in the U.S. Our team created an interactive cartoon website world with illustrations where someone can walk through interactive videos on psycho-education, mindfulness, relaxation. These topics are shown through a neighborhood map where each location covers a topic related to cognitive-behavioral therapy and racial trauma. The final result is a live website in progress and for this project, I specifically worked on sketching the illustrations of the neighborhood and various locations. You can learn more about this project here.
